The Idea
Nubank and Netflix created a new character in a way only Nubank could do: Pezinho . In the production, Pezinho dreams of being an actor, like his idol, Mãozinha (Thing). However, after countless rejections, his life changes when he comes in contact with Nu products, gaining footing as a successful financial influencer.
The campaign, which was approved by Tim Burton himself, humorously shows that Nu is always by customers’ side throughout their different journeys – even the most fantastic ones – with different solutions for them to take their next step. It highlights some of our products, such as Caixinhas, Modo Rua, and Pix no Crédito in Brazil, as well as our “Moradita” Credit Card and Cuenta Nu with Cajita Turbo in Mexico.

The new films for our "Pezinho / Piezito" campaign for Nubank include: a facial recognition from a hand, a suspicious purchase alert from a guillotine, and a credit card being used with a snap of a toe. No matter what your next step is, Nubank gives you a hand (unless you're trying to pull a scam on someone).
